Coronavirus Update from Sightsee

Coronavirus Update from Sightsee

Hey fam, just a Sightsee Coronavirus update as we begin the "Vaccines & Variants" chapter of the pandemic story.

We feel the now familiar swirl of hope and demoralization watching the vaccine rollout race against the proliferation of even more insidious variants of COVID-19. It is still impossible to predict when this will end so here's a quick recap of what we've learned so far and how we'll continue to operate.

WHAT WE'VE LEARNED
1️⃣The change in lifestyle required in a global pandemic causes tremendous mental, emotional, and physical strain to which none of us are immune. If you are like us, you are feeling "off" in ways that are both frustratingly vague and painfully acute. Please know that you are not alone. Check in with one another and never be afraid to ask for help.

2️⃣Nothing is as personally gratifying but publicly unproductive as a COVID rant. If epidemiologists and deaths have not convinced you to stop spending time inside public spaces without a mask by now then nothing we can say will either.

3️⃣It is entirely possible to stop the spread of COVID and get "back to normal" with basic precautions that are familiar to all of us: masks, distance, hand washing, staying put, etc.

4️⃣The risk of Coronavirus transmission is dramatically lower outside than inside. Thankfully, as the weather improves spending more time outdoors will be even easier to do.

WHAT WE'RE DOING
👬Limited Capacity - We will continue to limit the interior of our shop to one party at a time so that you never have to be inside our little space in close proximity to other customers.

😷Mask Required - Your mask must cover your nose and mouth at all times which means no eating or drinking while you're inside.

📱Online Ordering - In order to keep your risk of exposure (and wait time) to a minimum, just pop your order in on our website and we'll get it in the queue before you even arrive.

🌯Pop ups - We all need safe, outdoor settings in which to be around people. We'll be hosting pop ups as often as we can to offer that opportunity and support other entrepreneurs.

We ❤️ y'all. Stay connected. Stay safe.
