The upcoming election is Tuesday, Nov 5th from 7am-7pm. 

In Charleston, many districts are voting not only for President, but for State and Local roles spanning from State Senate to School Board. Before you vote, take a minute to make your voting plan and research the candidates!

Early Voting

Early Voting runs from Monday, October 21st until Saturday, Nov 2nd! Early voting locations will be open Monday through Saturday (closed Sunday 10/27) 8:30 AM to 6:00 PM. This is a great way to avoid long lines on Election Day and ensure you have time to cast your vote. **Early voting location may differ from your usual polling place! Absentee Voting by Mail

You can request an absentee ballot be sent to you by mail. The deadline to request an absentee ballot for the 2024 General Election is 5:00 p.m. on October 25.
