More about what makes this coffee special...
Eduardo Navarro Jiminez and his brother Juan Carlos Navarro Ceciliano share a
100-year family history in coffee production. The brothers and their other sibling
own several farms, and in 2016 Eduardo established Coffee NACE Micromill.
An important part of Juan and his brother Eduoardo's mission statement is, "Sabemos
que unidos somos capaces de lograr lo imposible," or "We know that together we
are capable of achieving the impossible." For them, the planting and harvesting of coffee represents the essence of their past, present, and future. More than work, coffee is a philosophy of life.
El Jocote is one of the family's many farms, all of which are located in the
Tarrazú Region of Costa Rica, an area known internationally for high quality coffee. Their farms are situated between 1350 to 1900 masl (meters above sea level), which allows them to produce different varietals of coffee in different microclimates.
